There was a passion and a common will among a group of people to, from their engineering know-how, create high value-added and competitive solutions in any market, in the energy sector.

Those people are the founders of SCIVEN and they still pursue that motivation today.

SCIVEN was born with this motivation, identifying the sectors where it could make a difference with disruptive solutions, seeking to optimize processes regarding their energy usage, maximizing their efficiency, and reducing their costs and environmental impacts.

Born within the University of Coimbra, in its mechanical engineering department, SCIVEN maintains an increasingly strong relationship with the University through cooperative projects to develop new technologies and applications.

More than a complete engineering company, SCIVEN looks at the energy sector in a holistic way, without barriers to the solutions it will present tomorrow, always based on in-house engineering.
